At BurtonSoftware.Ai, we respect and protect the privacy of our customers and individuals whose data we process. This Privacy Policy ("Policy") details how we collect, process, manage, and safeguard information when you use our core unified operations platform (the "Service") and our website.

1. Information We Collect

In operating an omnichannel supply chain platform, we process different scopes of information:

  • Account & Administrator Information: Name, email address, password, role, company profile, and billing information used to set up and manage your ERP account.
  • Operational Platform Data: Customer orders, inventory lists, fulfillment workflows, EDI transactions, supplier catalogs, and integrations connected via our REST/GraphQL APIs.
  • Usage Information: IP addresses, browser types, session durations, device signals, and diagnostic metrics detailing how users interact with the app.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the data strictly for providing, securing, and enhancing our platform:

  • To authenticate users, grant platform capabilities, and process billing correctly.
  • To execute supply operations including cross-channel inventory synchronizations and order fulfillment routing.
  • To provide real-time AI insight computations, automated forecasting, and inventory analytics securely within your tenant environment.
  • To troubleshoot system bugs, perform security auditing, and conduct internal R&D.

3. Data Security & Storage

We apply robust technical, administrative, and physical security measures to protect the platform. All data at rest is encrypted using AES-256 encryption. All data transferred over the network is secured via TLS 1.3. We employ advanced access controls, continuous vulnerability scans, and strict logical segregation for multi-tenant isolation.

4. Data Sharing and Third-Party Integrations

We do not sell your personal or business data. We only share information to the extent strictly necessary for the fulfillment of the Service:

  • With specialized sub-processors (e.g., cloud hosting networks like AWS or Google Cloud, payment processors).
  • With scheduling providers such as Calendly when you choose to book a sales demo, including the contact and meeting details you submit through their booking interface.
  • With external integration endpoints configured explicitly by you (e.g., Shopify, Amazon, 3PL platforms).
  • If required by legal request from statutory authorities or a court order.

5. Amazon Selling Partner Data

When you connect an Amazon Selling Partner account, BurtonSoftware.Ai accesses data through the Amazon Selling Partner API (SP-API) ("Amazon Information"). This may include order, inventory, listing, pricing, fulfillment, and financial data and, where you authorize the applicable data roles, personally identifiable information of Amazon customers such as buyer names and shipping addresses. We handle Amazon Information in accordance with the Amazon Acceptable Use Policy and the Amazon Data Protection Policy:

  • Purpose limitation: We use Amazon Information solely to provide and improve the warehouse, inventory, order-management, and fulfillment services you have requested. We do not use it for advertising, resale, or any purpose unrelated to operating the Service on your behalf.
  • No sale or unauthorized sharing: We never sell Amazon Information. We share it only with the sub-processors strictly required to deliver the Service (for example, our cloud hosting provider), and only as necessary to operate the Service on your behalf.
  • Encryption: Amazon Information is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.2 or higher and at rest using AES-256.
  • Access control: Access is restricted on a least-privilege basis to authorized personnel who require it to operate the Service, and all access is logged and monitored.
  • Retention and destruction: We retain Amazon Information only as long as needed to provide the Service. We delete personally identifiable Amazon Information within 30 days after you disconnect your Amazon account or request deletion, except where retention is required by law, and we destroy it using secure deletion methods.
  • Incident response: If a security incident affects Amazon Information, we will notify Amazon at security@amazon.com within 24 hours of discovery and take prompt remedial action.

To disconnect your Amazon account or request deletion of Amazon Information, remove the integration from your dashboard or contact us at support@burtonsoftware.ai.

6. Your Rights and Choices

Administrators hold the right to access, rectify, export, and delete operational platform data managed within BurtonSoftware.Ai. If you wish to permanently terminate your account and erase all associated tenant records, you may do so through your organization's settings console or by directly contacting support.

7. Updates to the Policy

We may amend this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect technological adjustments or evolving operational models. Any substantive changes will be broadcast to account administrators via the dashboard or targeted email prior to taking effect.
